Maybe no. I wouldn't toss them if I were him. Even though she is a worthless piece of crap (from an ex's point of view) they are still photo memories of his own life. You don't have to be hung up on an ex to hang on to your own scrap book.

Dude, no. As bitter as this guy sounds about the whole thing, you gotta let shit like that go. I had a terrible TERRIBLE relationship with a woman for 6 years, and God bless her heart, she fucked me over royaly. I held on to pics for the same reason, they were memories of me. But every time I'd take a trip down memory lane, bad feelings started and I'd get a mix of sad, depressed, angry, and wanting to fuck all her friends out of spite.

Now, I'd rather focus on the awesome life I live, and just pray she is doing well so she stays out of my life.

A question was asked whether she was pretty or not; I needed a photo, so I used that one. Those photos are way down in the hard drive. It was one of the first I found. I didn't think about the potential significance of using a photo from the wedding.

I have most papers, etc. of importance in a box located in the bottom of my closet. I'll soon burn (really, no pun!) the photos to a CD and put it away with all the other things. My son (six years old) knew her and still considers her children as siblings. The box of items, including the photos, will be for him when he's older.

Although I said she has a mental illness, she really has a mental disorder (Bordeline Personality Disorder, BPD). It took a great while for me to figure out what to do after riding that emotional, drama filled roller coaster. It was a few years of hell and I'm extremely happy I don't wear that burden anymore.

I guess Juan remembers some of my angst filled posts I tossed up shortly after joining this group. I was upset, angry, and damn sure was confused. I am none of those any longer. My thread came about because I was sure the divorce wouldn't be finalized (again) and I was fustrated. I believe I received all the things I wanted in the other days court appearance because she wants to get married next week. Time worked out for me. For a change, she was involved with something and, in the end, I had a reason to smile.


She and I did not have any children together; I have a son from a previous relationship and she had one boy and two girls.

I'm just saying, the less you remember the cunt, the better. Why even burn them on a CD...hell my hard drive crashed with all the ex's pics on it, and I haven't bothered recovering all the stuff on it (other pics I have of life after her) just cuz I could care less.
