Other than the obvious herbal I mean. I'm speaking of any natural plants, legal in the US, that can supposedly be used towards psychoactive ends.

I've acquired some kratom, which is apparently supposed to mimic a low dose of hydrocodone or vicodin when eaten but so far I've had little or no success. I know its supposed to be very subtle effects and I try not to but I always end up blazing while on it so I really don't feel shit. I need alot of hydrocodes to get a buzz but can definately feel them much stronger than kratom.

I'm thinking maybe I didn't do enough. I know taking too much can cause undesirable side effects so I'm hesitant to just eat a shitload. Anyone have a dosage recommendation? I've heard 1-6g. Its just powdered regular leaf. Maybe my stuff is bunk but a good friend told me the guy is reputable so I doubt it.

I'm interested in anyone's experiences with Kratom or any other herbal intoxicant. I have heard some about kava but I'm reluctant to order some if its gonna be like this kratom shit and not work.

Has the gubmint really made every fun plant illegal? (cigs are not fun and alco is yeast poopy, not a plant)
