Re: Eragon?
I agree with everyone that hte movie was a letdown. I'm finding I have more freetime than I had imagined, I might start reading Eldest.

Re: Eragon?
I recommend the audio books. The reader is terrific. Eragon was good and Eldest was better. Can't wait for the third.

Re: Eragon?
The books are okay...the movie was a piece of crap...my two 12 year olds saw it first and told me it stunk ..I wanted to see it anyway so I rented it and , yep, they are right! The actors are okay but the way it was edited..... all the action and continuity were cut out, it almost didn't make sense...

Re: Eragon?
When Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it's the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy; maybe now he'll be able to buy food for the winter for his family. But when the stone turns out to be an egg from which a baby dragon is hatched, Eragon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. Overnight his simple life is shattered, and he is thrust into a perilous new world of destiny, magic, and power.
With only an ancient sword and the advice of an old storyteller for guidance, Eragon and the fledgling dragon must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds. Can Eragon take up the mantle of the legendary Dragon Riders? The fate of the Empire may rest in his hands.

Wow. Do you just do a Google search of any thread topic you happen to land in & then copy/paste whatever it is that you find as a reply? You are an English speaking person, right? You confuse the shit out of me.

I agree.
I'm still not convinced as to the sex of the person speaking, let alone what they say.

I read it and really enjoyed it. It is great if you are into that fantasy kind of stuff.

Re: Eragon?
Eragon is a bit of a dry read, although a slightly inspired one.... The movie wrecked the story though, to much Hollywood and not enough book.
Granted I will still read the 3rd just to finish the story.... but I am easy like that.
