e-gold.com
I've noticed a lot of investment sites, and even yahoo auctions that are acceptin e-gold as a primary, or sometimes only form of acceptable payment. Has anyone here done any business with e-gold. It seems kinda difficult to use, since they don't accept cash or credit payments, but you must buy the e-gold from a third party. Any comments?

Re: e-gold.com
There is some question as to the legality of e-gold. Using real world dollars to pay for cyber dollars presents all kinds of legal tender issues.
I'm staying away from it until some of the haze and fog has been cleared.
Best,
Talen

Re: e-gold.com
egold is a good site i think, but u have to be careful on who u send ur money too since there are no refunds or anything.... so u have to trust the other person. i wouldnt use it for auctions because its too easy to get an egold and rip people off... i use egold for investment sites which i trust and have been paid pretty good

Re: e-gold.com
Thanks run. How do you deposit money in your e-gold account? Since you can't deposit directly to them, you have to go thru a third party. And, I haven't found one that accepts credit card, or debit card. Who do you use, and how do you fund?

Re: e-gold.com
a run-of-the mill credit card is the way to go- most are now offering zero-liability fraud protection. i am not familiar with e-gold, and wouldn't trust it until it's a household name.

Re: e-gold.com
I have used e-gold for several years with no problems. Just one exception To expensive to do exchanges and fund the e-gold account.
