If you're uploading huge pics it's probably a good idea to check the "Create thumbnails" option as well.
6. Now that you've selected the proper settings, you're ready to upload your files! You will see a Select Files section on the right side of your screen with three text boxes and "Browse" and "Remove" buttons. Click on the "Browse" button. Locate the file you want to upload, click on it and click "Open". The file location will jump right into the text box. If you clicked on the wrong file, click on "Remove" to remove the selected file. You have to do this for every file that you want to upload. If you run out of upload slots, click on the "Add upload slots (5)" link. You don't have to fill them all up.
7. When you're done selecting files, click on the "Upload files" button at the bottom of the page. This will probably take a while, especially if you're uploading a large number of files, or if they're big files.
8. After all the files have been uploaded, you will be brought to the IMG tags screen. Select all the text in the text box and copy them. If you're using Internet Explorer there's a handy button that you can use to copy everything. If you're using a different browser you can do the following: Right click inside the big text box and select "Select All". Everything will be highlighted. Right click again and select "Copy".
9. Now go back to Webrats and either start a new thread or locate the thread you want to post your pics in. Remember the text you copied? Right click inside your reply/new thread text box and select "Paste". All that text will be pasted inside the text box, ready to be posted.
10. Once you're satisfied with your message, you can click on Submit/Post/etc. to post your message. Your pics should now be posted. If it looks weird you can always click on "edit" at the bottom of your post to modify it.

Posting Thumbnail pics

You may also post thumbnail pics. I recommend www.imagevenue.com Upload your pics there and copy and paste the 2nd set of links into your post. The Test forum is a good place to try your new thread out to make sure it all works fine.

Sharing movies, making screencaps

Screencaps are now required.

2 Easy ways to make screencaps, works on most movies:

Edit March 6, 2007, new version 2, a little more complex than version 1 but better.

a) Open Movie in Windows Media Player Classic. If you don't have it, install "K-Lite Codec". Available free here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...Codec_Pack.htm
b) Pause movie where you wish to have a screenshot.
c) Click File/Save Image. Name the file and save it.
d) Repeat step b) until you are satisfied.
e) Upload the pics to www.imagevenue.com and paste links in your thread.

Other violations that will get you banned:

a) Cursing in thread title is not allowed, (This is in the TOS of Webrats), use F**k, B1tch, Sh*t, pu$$y, etc. All posts that fail this will have contents deleted and thread closed, and a 1 week ban unless you just joined (like minutes ago).
b) No linking of other forums on this board allowed. This may earn you a permaban.
c) No posting of password lists allowed. Those lists are only for gold members who have access to adult lounge. Posting a list may also get you permabanned.
d) Image Cash or any other "pay for pix" site:

current list also includes but not limited to: pic bux, imageg ravy, image fap, uploading .com, and Dep0sit Files. Post from these sites, and enjoy at least a month's ban.
e) No posting of links to pictures. Upload them. There is a serious problem with viruses on internet porn sites. Post a link, you may be banned.

How to download uploaded pics and thumbnails:

to download uploaded pics you may either right click each one and save target as, or look in your temporary internet files for the pics.

To download thumbnails easily, credit to DDGuy for this:

I friend gave me a FireFox extension that will save all the image venue thumb pics on a given page at the click of a mouse button. I didn't write it so bless the techie who wrote it but enjoy it in my name anyways

Step 2:

Install the above extension. FF Gurus will know how to do that but those who don't, just drag the file saved in step 1 above onto any open FF tab and then follow the instructions.

Step 3:
Restart FF, you would notice a new option called "image grabber" in FF options at the top. Now find a post having thumbs supported by this extension (Imagevenue mainly but many others too). One of mine is here

Click on above image grabber option, select imagevenue (or others as the case may be), decide where u want to save your pics and say OK. You would see FF locking up, don't panic...its doing hard work in the background (this is the downside of this extension, it locks up FF till the pics are all ready). U can see the progress by noticing the text in minimixed FF in the Windows task bar at the bottom. In a few minutes it will be done and u can go back to FF. U would notice a lot of download tabs open, just click on the last one on the right and hit CRTL-W and keep it pressed till all unnecessary tabs are gone. Voila !!!!

Other things you need to know....:

a) No making threads requesting things in this forum allowed. We have a request forum for that, but if you have only a few posts and are begging for things, you are going to be flamed.

b) Reposts. You might try the search function before you post anything. (located in upper right hand corner of the forum). Reposts seem embarrasing, but the main idea of calling repost is to give credit to who uploaded the pics first.

c) All amateur pics go in the ultimate jailbait thread, add them there please. Starting a new am thread will result in it being closed. Long story here, ask if you must.

d) No superthreads or site rips. If you post more than one set in a thread, it will be closed.

e) If you flood girl pics with new threads, we are going to close them! To clarify this for you, note that we define flooding as posting more than three new threads within a 24 hour period. Exception: Movie Forum, post all you want in there, just 1 movie per thread.

f) Don't act like an ass in here. If you don't like someone's post, Be polite and say nothing. Or, post something you approve of. If you want to be a dick, go to BOTH forum and act up all you want. You won't be banned there. You might be banned in here.

General Info:

a) If you are posting, say, 15 or more BIG pics, please add a "56K warning" to your post title as a courtesy to our members still living in the stone age (aka 56k dial up)...

b) Posting replies. It is very important that you thank the posters for their work. This encourages them to post more. You may also give a poster reputation points by clicking the green squares under their name, then filling in the popup window.

d) Red X threads. Most threads made before December 1, 2005 are red X as we had an uploader crash then. Newer threads may be Red X for various reasons. If they are on the WR uploader it might be down and they will return soon. Or they may have been deleted. If you can't live without the missing pics, try PMing the thread author with a link to the thread and ask nicely if he/she will post them again.

e) Threads in girl pics autolock 10 days after last post was made, and you won't be able to make a comment in them. Give the uploader reputation points and leave a comment that way. Just click the colored squares under their handle and fill out the pop-up window.

Edit DDGuy: If u find any post that u feel is violating any of the rules, let the MODs know by clicking on "Report Post" option at the bottom right of the post. But PLEASE dont use this option to post your comments on the post. The correct way to post your comments is to post a "reply" to the post

Also please know that the green/ red rectangles that u see under people's name indicate how much positive/ negative reputation they have from fellow members. So if a post touches you in more ways than one, you may click on those green/ red thingies and spread some rep !! Its all good

A lot of foreign members can rarely download from megaupload, sexuploader/megaerotic. This trick is supposed to bypass the allotted country limits.
