Get ANY program you want FAST!

No this is not spam. But, I am going to tell you THE EASIEST WAY to get ANY program, movie, video game, music, documents, eBooks, pictures...ANYTHING online for free and at a fast speed. The way you do it is Torrents. Now, I know a lot of you here have heard of torrents, but I also see a lot of sites with links that use rapidshare. Rapidshar sucks, its slow and you have to wait. Torrents dont cost a thing and its quick.

First thing you do is get a bittorrent client. I use bitcomet www.bitcomet.com and I will explain the best way to set that up here in a second.

Install bitcomet and start it up. In the memberzone tab, click sign in and then on the pop up click sign up. Go through the signup process (again free, no credit cards asked for or personal infor really) then sign in (you get faster speeds). Now go to speedtest.net and test your download and upload speeds on the recommended servers. Now on the connection tab enter the exact number of what your download was in the download section, and for the upload section insert 80% of your upload reading from speedtest.

to get torrent files just go to one of the hundreds of torrent sites.

www.mininova.org
www.completorrent.com

and when you search for what you want and click the link, click open with...and search for bitcomet and bingo you are set. it will automatically start downloading in bitcomet. I average speeds of around 550Kb/s +

there are a few "clean" client programs out there . for the most part , yeah , pretty risky .

that asides though , i can't help but wonder ...
the guy joins up , makes a single post and that's it .
somehow , i detect the faint aroma of spam .

spam? or not at all. sorry i havent been on much. just trying to give my 2 cents to the matter. but i guess like most forums u get flammed for trying to tell something. Seemed to me that not many people knew about torrents due to the fact people are posting download sites with programs using slow ass file upload site. Just trying to help out but oo well. And for the record, www.thepiratebay.org has lots of programs lots without viruses. All it takes is to read the comments other people have left. Also, what would i gain from spamming bitcomet and thepiratebar (both sites have a large following with lots of people).

eh, I won't call spam on you...but if you are going to promote torrents you should also let peeps know that torrents, or any file "sharing" for that matter, can get you busted a lot easier than "one-way" (downstream) methods of obtaining things.

Any time you are "sharing" (or seeding) you are exposing your IP to the world and that is like a trail of breadcrumbs for the RIAA/MPAA/anyone else to follow to you.

I won't tell folks to NOT use torrents as much as I will tell them to BE CAREFUL & protect their online ID when they do so.

if you use bitcomet your information you are streaming out is encrypted. also if for some reason you do get served with suit for file sharing all you need to do is take any keys or passwords you have on your wireless router (or buy one) off. There was an article that all cases of people with open wireless networks where dropped because they cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they were the ones downloading the files. But, like i said many torrent downloading clients have encryption methods.

Also, somebody said i should mention what torrents are. They are files you download off of the internet (usually around 12-30kb) and what it does is holds information on how to download the file and what it is.
