favorite game is def. hl2. i know it sounds unoriginal, but i simply loved it, especially ravenholm(sp?). second favorite would be Resident evil 4 and ocarina of time.

Streetfighter 2 for me. I think the game had a decent balance between accessability and complexity, so that there was plenty to do in it, but it wasn't so complicated that you couldn't learn to play it reasonably quickly.
There's a fairly varied cast of characters too, and while some like Ryu & Ken are very similair, other like Zangief and Dhalsim played vastly differently from one another.

Many games that I loved were already here, but the one that stands out from the crowd of action games is, Indigo Prophecy. Here is a game/movie. Kinda plays something like Resident evil, but Indigo has a plot. Its more like playing a movie than anything else, and I sure hope that this new type of game becomes far more exploited for its incredible potential to excite players without the need for reflex shooting skills. If you haven't seen this game yet, give it a try. It may not be for everyone, but it sure can entice curiosity.
