this new game BLACK has came out and, I was wondering if anyone has gotten it yet?

If so put your comments here,because I'm thinking about getting it becasue i read about it in OPM and it sounds nice but im an XBOX guy soon to pick up the nice 360.

yeah its not a bad game on xbox the blurred parts when reloading are a pain but other than that its and alright shooter

It's pretty cool, though I did beat it in 6 hours on normal difficulty, maybe rent it and beat it and save some cash.

It's like the modern Goldeneye 64. I thought the blurred reloading was pretty genius based on the fact that you really can't focus on your surroundings when you're trying to reload your weapon. I had a good time playing it, though I only played for a few hours.

Any gun owner will tell you they can reload it without looking, it's as easy as shifting a car, or typing.

Reloading without looking isn't hard at all. Any game that makes it seem that way is un-realistic.

So...as people are shooting at you, and you're running around you aren't going to be fumbling around and won't have to concentrate on reloading your weapon?

If you've ever been hunting and trying to shoot a deer as it starts to run, reloading your weapon requires at least some bit of concentration, at least enough that you can't devote absolute full attention on watching the deer and where it's going. Or even duck hunting with a shotgun.

What I'm saying is that, yes you can reload your weapon without taking your eyes off your surroundings when you're just standing there shooting targets or whatever, but when shit's going down, you need to concentrate.

That's my experience however.

it's an interesting convention anyway, but I don't play video games because they're realistic, I play to blow shit up, so I don't need blurriness.

True, but I thought it was a pretty neat inovation. Although I noticed a few times it didn't blur when I reloaded, maybe there's more to the system than originally thought.

All in all, I've been waiting for a newer "Goldeneye" for quite a while and I think this takes the cake. I'm sick of all of the "get shot once and you die" games that are out now.

It's an awesome game, definitely worth playing, I totally agree there. I just wish there was a little more diversity in enemies and it was a little longer, but it's exactly what they set out to make: "gun porn."

The particle effects are awesome, I love unloading with the m249 and seeing sparks and shit flying everywhere.

I didn't think it was that great of a game. If you want to play it just rent it, don't buy it. not worth $40.
