Let's start a wrestlling thread for the fans here on WR. Talk about anything WWE, TNA, even old school shit like NWA, WCW, ECW, and WWF. I know there is fellow ratters here who still follow so chat it up!

And please, if you don't like pro wrestling don't come in here flaming away. Yes we know it's staged. Get over it. We have. Let us enjoy talking about it with each other.


Raw has been decent. Wrestlemania did not dissapoint and has made some decent story lines. Michaels and Hogan are going to tag. Batista and Triple H is getting good. And holy shit! Orten really did fuck his shoulder up.

What's up with Stone Cold coming out two weeks in a row and now he's gone again. WTF Vince? Keep him around! I know he's going over legal battles but he still is a huge draw.

I will let you guys open the discussion though. Just to test the waters and see if this thread will stay active.

man back in the day, i was a huge wrestling fan. nowadays i don't follow, however i am starting to get back into it. i watched wrestlemania, and comparing it to the wrestlemania's i have watched in the past, this one was a disappointment to me. altho i did really enjoy the undertaker and randy orten and the shawn michaels and kurt angle match. o and in the ladder match, i seriously thought benoit was gonna kill himself that match, when he did the flying headbutt off the ladder, his head just bounced off the other guy's head....im thinking it was christian.....anyways, i have noticed that i do not like smackdown.....i do like raw pretty decently. one more final note, you are right about hogan and michaels teaming up, that is gonna be the shit, that alone makes me want to watch the next ppv....backlash??

Didn't get to watch Wrestlemania, PPV wasn't working. Anybody as happy as I am that Hurricane finally got some airtime Monday? I was hoping Michaels would team with Janetti again. I'm going to Judgment Day here in Minneapolis in May, gonna be a contributing member of the chain gang!

I love Hunter. I always have since D-X days. So I pull for him. But his reign has gotten a bit long. Now that Batista has the belt it just keeps Triple H top dawg as the #1 contender. Batista won't hold it long. I could see him losing it quick and getting it right back. I think Vince promised him gold when he signed with the WWE. Of course....Edge could come and fuck up the Games plan....how gay would that be!

Anyway, glad you boys are talking, keep it up!

Unfortunately i don't believe you will ever see Sting in the WWE. Apparently years ago when his contract was up for renewal with WCW, he talked with Vince about moving to the WWE, but they got into some arguments or something and Sting said he would NEVER work for Vince.

Before Michaels said Hogan, i was actually thinking that Diesel (Kevin Nash) might be coming back. Guess not

I'd like to see Hogan drop "The Big Leg" on that ass-hat Davari.

I think you are right about Batista and Triple H. Triple H had a long reign but it was time for somebody else, just don't know if Batista should be the one. I don't think he will hold the title for very long either, but i have a feeling we will see some kind of tournament of triple threat match sometime soon.

I havent figured out if Batista is good on the mic yet, he hasnt had a lot of exposure in that arena. If he is halfway decent, we could be in 4 a nice lil run, at least thru the summer, probably into SS

I pick Raw anyday, I just like the superstars much better on Raw....Plus Raw has been on the same time slot for years, and now that I am getting back into it a lil bit, it is easier to remember.

Anyway...on to tonights show. What did you guys think? HHH Finally put the Pedigree down on Batista, and really freaked the fuck out. I've never seen Hunter go that crazy standing over an opponent. But, we all know the outcome at Backlash....Batista keeps the title to set up yet another rematch in the next PPV.......or maybe not? I could see Triple H winning and then it's a 1/1 tie...they would need a tie breaker. Well, either way they will fight agin after Backlash.

Is it me or is Christian getting more and more chunky everytime I see him.

Kinda dissapointed they had Tajiri(or however you spell it) and Regal loose....They were in fucking England...let Regal shine a bit in his home counrty.

Kane -vs- Vicera at Backlash...who gives a shit. I like watching the Big Red Machine wrestle and all but Vicera??? It didn't work the first time Vince. Plus I'm pissed that fat fucker got to lay one on Trish.

Michaels and Hogan still is going to bring the house down at Backlash....now only if we could get a Sting -vs- Michaels match one day.

All in all, a decent night. One thing I also observed was that Batista is getting a tad better with the mic. Thats a good thing if he's going to stay champ.
