I got no prob with a team trying to get another play off so it can't be challenged. BUT, until the ball is hiked the team should be able to challenge the play.

and they say it can't be challenged because the play was whistled dead? WTF? every play is whistled when it is done? You can challenge a catch being made in bounds, but not that play. Just another example of the refs playing favorites towards the Pats.

Yup, it's one big conspiracy. The refs know the Pats MUST win or the NFL's ratings will be dwarfed by the NHL's. Pat's suck. That one play changed the whole game. Pffft

I agree with Sir Drinkalot - I was SHOCKED that Jake "The Fake"'s Fumble was not a safety, and they invoked the Tuck rule. I was glad, but could see on the scoreboard it was a bad call.

One problem you run into is the other side of What if - Team's game plans change depending on the game situation, and so it is hard to say what would happen later if a score or 1st down is given or taken away.

All I have to say is - Go Bronco's!!! Beat the PATS this weekend and WIN!!!
(Maybe the NFL wants the Bronco's to win more this year!!! :happycow: )

I hate how the media is in love with him. He is a good quarterback, but its like nobody gives credit to the defense, which is the real reason they've been so good.

Their defense this year has not been stellar. pats have allowed more points (158) than the Houston def (141), and only have 1 INT. here's to more losing by the Pats.
