This is not noted anywhere in her public profile. This information could only be provided by MJ because he has abused his moderator's authority. A pretty sad way to try to score some points!

Actually rex, I am a moderator here and that is why I responded to your request that a moderator review your issue. There is no "abuse of moderator authority" in effect here - he used the tools we have here to trace the user accounts coming from your IP addresses and inferred from those other user accounts (four of them - you really need to re-read our policy on keeping alternate identities) that one of them was your wife. That, or some other female that resides at your house. Not rocket science and not certainly not sinister.

We're all grownups here, and I have told you all repeatedly to get back on topic in this thread. Do it.

If you have additional complaints to make about the staff of webrats I suggest you contain it to the helpdesk and keep it out of this thread because I'm not here to babysit and I'm about one post away from handing out the long-term bans.

Let's talk some smack. The argument rexhamer and I got into ages ago was who was the most successful franchise, Lakers or Boston. Let's be honest here. 20 years ago, there was no debate. It was Boston. Now there is an argument and has to do with the disastrous years of 1986-87 to 2006-07 endured by the Celtics. In that time frame, the Celtics coughed up every significant advantage they held except titles, and that got closer. I proved it to mine and other people's satisfaction that the Lakers are the superior franchise. Is it unanimous? No it isn't. Some people only go by titles. However there is enough evidence of the real story to have a closer look.

Let's list the actual historical categories that are relevant:

1) Titles: Celtics 17, Lakers 14: Edge Celtics, plus 3

2) NBA Finals appearances, and conference finals wins: Lakers 29, Celtics 20. Edge Lakers, plus 9

3) NBA Conference Finals appearances: Lakers 38, Celtics 31, Edge Lakers, plus 7

4) NBA Conference Finals losses: Lakers 9, Celtics 11, Edge Lakers, plus 2.

5) Who’s best, season by season over the entire NBA history: Lakers 34, Celtics, 22, equal 5. (Or Lakers 37, Celtics 24) Edge Lakers, plus 12 (or 13)

6) Playoff appearances: Lakers 55/60, Celtics 45/60: Edge Lakers, plus 10.

7) Franchise regular season winning percentages, Lakers 61.7%, Celtics 59.3%, Edge Lakers.

I had a couple of more categories in this list which I removed. At any rate, a list like this allows a neutral fan to compare and make a decision.

Now, let's get to the topic of my argument with rexhamer. His articles claim that none of the items listed from 2-9 are relevant to the discussion as he has refuted each and every one of them. His whole article is full of flawed logic, contradiction of his own criterea, and speculation which I clearly demonstrated. His last published article was devoted to my use of speculation which was only used to make things a bit clearer. I removed it from my rebuttal and refuted his entire article. In short, I kicked his ass.

rexhamer had 3 additional categories in the argument which I clearly refuted, and proved by his own hypocrisy, do not even belong. These are mentioned above, 17-3, 9-2, and 14-15. I am sure when he posted his last article he smugly thought he had me beat, but he was in for quite a rude surprise.

He has yet to reply to my article, yet claims above he has refuted them. He did reply 3 times to my article with some puzzling posts. I quickly realized all he was doing was mimicking me, and my arrogant attitude. Yeah, you that know me here know how I get when I argue, lol.

I win Internet arguments becuase I do extensive research, post stats to support my case, and publish lengthy articles. You have fallen into the trap of many Lakers fans - you did not read the entire blog. You cannot "cherry pick" the parts of the blog that you want to address.

Now, just let me know if you want to keep the war going on or not. I gave you what you wanted, a speculation free debate. We have a fair historically accurate scorecard, free from bias. It only contains facts. People who pick the Celtics feel having the most titles is the deciding factor. People who are willing to count consistency pick the Lakers, because they hold every other significant advantage. Similar arguments abound elsewhere as Spurs fans pick themselves over the Bulls as being more successful.

However, again, it is a debate. It wasn't 20 years ago. That in itself is a major victory for the Lakers. Many people do select the Lakers now. I rest my case.
