Was Kobe's Apology For Real??

If your a sportsnut like me you know Kobe did a couple interviews yesterday claimimg he was sorry for past actions. I'm talking of course of the feud with Shaq, Karl, and Phil.

Do you think he is sincere?? Or just a ploy to try and recover his "good guy image".

I love Kobe...I think everyside has their story. Kobe is quickly becoming a scapegoat for alot of other players and coaches own problems.

Personally I think Kobe was just trying to save his reputation of being that "good guy." I mean look at the way he handled that very tough question from John Saunders about it being months and months away and still no contact with Shaq. Kobe was on pins and needles with that question, and avoided a real answer, claiming that he would call Shaq up right then and there if he had his number and all this...I have lost all respect for him with the way he dealt with his own problems by bringing everyone else in with him....He had no right to bring up Shaq's name and how Shaq deals with his life when asked about his legal problems.....And before i finish this post i want it to be known that I am not a Shaq fan by any means, however I like him better now that he is in the Eastern Conference.

The thing about what he said about Shaq was testimony at the time of his arrest. That's the media's fault for leaking that info out. Not Kobe's.

Kobe isn't sorry now, but will be 10 years from now when his legacy is in granite. He not being blame for other people problems, he's being blamed for the fall of one of the greatest franchises in professional sports. Shaq may actually make it back to the championship, Phil(after his much needed break) will come home to the NY Knicks, Malone will finish out his career with a chance to become the all-time scorer. Everything looks up for everybody but Kobe and the Lakers. If he has any character he'll make a great comeback because he has hall of fame talent. I wouldn't count on it.

Comeback? Comeback from what? He's the leading scorer in the NBA. He's leading a brand new Lakers team. Give it a year, they will be on top again.

And remember....Kobe didn't push Shaq out of L.A. Kobe didn't even know if he was going to be a Laker this year.

P.S. Malone doesn't deserve the scoring title. Just as Emmit doesn't deserve the rushing title.
