| 2006 formula 1 season
Ok...i don't know about any of you but i can't wait for the 2006 season to start. I'm not happy with the new engine regulation (a V8 instead of a V10) It will seem like watching Kart Championships and not fromula 1 championships. Do you think Alonzo Will Ferrari come back to dominate formula 1?Let me know what you think.

With the introduction of the smaller capacity V8s the 2006 season is going to be one of the closest in years providing more overtaking opertunities and I hope some cracking races. The smoother drivers will benefit from the lack of sheer grunt to mask untidy driver errors, so yes I would imagine Alonso will still be in with a shout for the championship. It will be interesting to watch the fight between Red Bull and Ferrari this year as they share the new V8 powerplant built by Ferrari. Personally I wouldn't be surprised to see some red faces at Ferrai to match their patriotic Italian colourscheme

Rossi is officially going to test for Ferrari at the next run alongside regular drivers, I for one hope he comes embarrassingly close to Schumachers times. "The Ferrari formula 1 team sacked their entire pit crew yesterday. The announcement followed Ferrari's decision to take advantage of the UK Government's Youth Opportunity Scheme and employ people from Liverpool. The decision to hire them followed a recent documentary on how unemployed youths roam the Liverpool area were able to remove a set of wheels in less than 6 seconds without proper equipment, whereas Ferrari's existing crew can only do it in 8 seconds with millions of £'s worth of high tech equipment. Prime Minister Tony Blair went on record as saying this was a bold move by the Ferrari management which demonstrated the international recognition of the UK under New Labour. As most races are won and lost in the pits, Ferrari thought they had the advantage over every team. However, Ferrari got more than they bargained for. At the first practice session, the Liverpool pit crew successfully changed the tyres in less than 6 seconds, but within 12 seconds they had re-sprayed, re-badged, and sold the vehicle to the McLaren team for 8 bottles of Stella, a kilo of speed and some photos of Coulthard's bird in the shower." Wouldn't mind a picture of DC girlfriend myself. :happycow:
