Why has it taken folk so long to rumble Tony Blair? I believe he is the most dangerous, authoritarian, anti-democratic, corrupt, opportunistic, duplicitous, manipulative actor-politician to have (dis)graced the British political stage in living memory.

I travel allot and have found that what we know here, USA, is only a small part of what is the whole truth is. Our media look for stories to fit into their agendas and beliefs and even the most obvious happenings can be turned into a completely different story, and yes both conservative and liberal media do it. Every leader can be seen as positive and negative now but we can only truly comment many years later when ALL of the facts have been collected and studied. I dare say that we in the USA would be in quite a few more pickles if there wasn't some other civilived country out there watching out asses, by the way I don't want to down play that the UK owes us at least that for our help over the last 70 years. JUST AN OPINION

Simple, like Winston Churchill, Harold Wilson, Margaret Thatcher and many others before him, who started out apparently wanting to do "the right thing", and been successful for a while, he's started to believe that he alone has all the answers. He believes he's a great statesman and wants to leave a permanent legacy to prove it. They were wrong too...
