I'm sure I'll be satisfied with it. Having spent time in the Army, the AR15/M4 platform is one I'm very familiar with. Now I just need to get some 5.56, some mags and and rear BUIS to hold me over until I have the money to spend on a nice optic and I'll be ready to shoot.

got a range close by? i love to go shoot. we took my ak to an indoor range and they made us buy special bullets. the neglected to tell us how much they were. 7.62 is usually cheap but the ones from them were over $1 each..... 4 boxes later. only go to the outdoor range now, unless i am just shooting the pistol.

The only ranges near me are membership only ranges(lame), but there's plenty of logging roads that lead to good places to shoot. Yeah, having to buy ammo at the range is bad right now. I've heard stories in the past few months of ranges not letting people police their own brass after they shoot so that the range can get it, reload it and sell it for insane prices. Fuck that shit.

I don't know how it works down there with AK's, but I know with an AR you have to have a fixed low capacity mag. I assume it's no different with an AK, just not sure how to do that to one of those.
