LiberalFags are going to say "polls don't mean shit". Funny. Because they sure do mean a lot of shit when they work FOR them! :bowrofl:

I'm so glad that I'm alive and living in this country right now so that in 10 years I'll be able to say that I lived through one of the worst recessions in history, the worst congresses in history and the worst President in history. When we naturally cycle out of this, I hope my children and grandchildren will use this moment in history to learn that you don't elect ineffectual neophytes to leadership based on their marketability. You don't reward laziness. You don't create wealth by penalizing the wealthy. You don't apologize for being feared and respected, and you sure as fuck don't pander to your enemies. Government should provide an environment for success, not "give" or "promise" you success.

Come on down all you liberalfags and tell me what a right wing, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity dick sucking, corporate loving nepotistic fucktard I am!!! :yamon::yamon::yamon:

Sub-50%

President Obama's job approval numbers will dip below 50% for the first time today in Gallup's daily tracking poll, according to a Gallup official.

"Gallup Daily tracking results just in. Obama will be below 50% for the first time when we update our numbers at 1:00 p.m.," wrote Gallup.com managing news editor Lymari Morales on Twitter.

His approval numbers have bounced down to the 50% mark several times, driven by weaker support from independents and Republicans, but hadn't crossed it.

The slide is worrying for the White House, but it's probably not yet panic time. Ronald Reagan's approval numbers dropped well below 40% during the depths of his first term recession. If Obama's bad stretch puts him in the high forties or low fifties, that's not a crippling political problem. If he languishes there or drops further, it may become one.

A-list Search: A great day to quit - Great American Smokeout
Search: A great day to quit

The Great American Smokeout is a challenge to quit using tobacco Thursday. It's intended to encourage people to quit forever.

Beginnings: The Great American Smokeout began in the 1970s, when smoking was commonplace. What are the origins of the Smokeout?

Progress: In 1965, 42% of U.S. adults smoked cigarettes. That percentage has changed quite a bit.

Overseas: Despite most European countries' higher cigarette taxes and stricter smoking regulations, Europe's smoking population is larger than the U.S. smoking population. How do experts explain this disparity?

Bad influences: Some filmmakers have accepted large sums of money to place tobacco products in their characters' hands.

Uncertain censorship: Which country's high court overturned a ban on smoking in film and television?

Lowering the influence: Tobacco advertising has been greatly curbed worldwide.

Some alternatives: Are light cigarettes healthier? What about natural cigarettes?

Do it: The American Cancer Society -- the promoters of the Great American Smokeout -- provide many resources to help you quit.

Healthy trend: What do most people say is the most effective way to quit?

Why quit? Do it for your health, the money, the environment, or for the people around you.

Share some of your funny, entertaining, odd, or just information you found out about fucking (sex).

So a few days ago, the gf had to go out of town for some presentation in Palm Springs. She was gone a night, and well, when you get it two to three times a day for a while, you kind of get used to it. Needless to say when she got back into town, we "caught up"

Anyway, I don't think I have mentioned it much, but I somehow inherited her pet poodle (female). She is an indoor dog. Not ever having had indoor dogs since most of my previous dogs were 80 lbs plus, it takes some getting used to.

Here's where it gets weird. We got to doing our thing and I had no clue the dog was even in the room. She's a little on the loud side, and I was very into it that night. She absolutley loves missionary...not my favorite position, but I like to please. We had the heat on that night so we didn't need covers, plus I heat up plenty as big as I am.

I love to fuck stoned. I just do...it's VERY different than fucking sober unless you are into meditation and can control your mind. When fucking high, its almost out of body-ish since you can concentrate on different parts of your body and....well just go try it some day. The problem this night was reaction time.

As my ass was pointing into the air while she was under me getting plowed, a certain someone jumped onto the bed...she weighs about 6 lbs so we didn't notice.

Then I felt some anal play and was like...oooh, that feels good...which is where I realized, I'm looking at my gf face to face and this was not a threesome.

Imagine if you will 230 lbs of mexican shoot up into the air, hitting my head on the ceiling, crashing down back onto the bed, bouncing off and onto the hard wood floor with a flop sound.

:queso::queso::queso::queso:

The gf couldn't stop laughing about the whole deal, and we are getting the poodle tested for STDs this weekend.

Ken Ober, ‘Remote Control’ Host, Is Dead at 52 http://forums.webrats.com/showthread.php?t=304545&goto=newpost Tue, 17 Nov 2009 20:33:24 GMT I fucking loved this show. I remember Adam...
I fucking loved this show. I remember Adam Sandler had a couple of characters that would occasionally appear on the show. The one I remember most was Stud Boy. Sandler couldn't have been older than 18 at the time. Anyway, RIP Ken Ober :sadwavey:

Ken Ober, ‘Remote Control’ Host, Is Dead at 52

Updated | 4:29 p.m. Ken Ober, a brassy comedian best known as the host of the 1980s-era MTV game show “Remote Control,” died this weekend, Mark Measures, an agent at Abrams Artists who worked with him, said on Monday. Mr. Ober, who lived in Santa Monica, Calif., was 52. The cause of death was not immediately known.

Lee Kernis, a manager at Brillstein Entertainment Partners who represented Mr. Ober for more than 20 years, said that Mr. Ober was found dead on Sunday. He said that Mr. Ober was last heard from on Saturday night, when he spoke to a friend and complained of a headache and flu-like symptoms. Mr. Ober told the friend that he was going to take something and would see a doctor as soon as possible.

Mr. Ober, who was born in Brookline, Mass. and raised in Hartford, Conn., grew up idolizing game show hosts like Bob Barker and Bob Eubanks, and went on to host four game shows of his own, including a revived version of “Make Me Laugh” in 1997. But his breakthrough came a decade earlier when Mr. Ober, a contestant on the televised talent show “Star Search,” became the host of the MTV series “Remote Control” in 1987.

That show, which was the network’s first original series to focus on non-musical content, tested participants on their knowledge of television, music-video and pop-culture trivia. The show, which also provided a launching pad for the careers of comedians like Adam Sandler and Colin Quinn, drew much of its sarcastic, self-mocking spirit from the culturally obsessive Mr. Ober, who ran the program like a late-night talk show (or frat party) and gleefully teased players who gave wrong answers.

Van Toffler, the president of MTV Networks, said on Monday, “Ken was a great guy. His personality really brought ‘Remote Control’ to life, as well as a new style of programming for MTV. We were really flying by the seat of of our pants then, and Ken was the reason it worked.”

What is the purpose of these guys, besides revenue generation?

I have to take some side streets to get to the on-ramp over at the new neighborhood. This is around 5:45 in the morning. No one is up, the streets are relatively empty and the sun is already out at that time. So its perfect weather here, its perfect visibility, there are no pedestrians, and traffic is non-existend. So there I go, driving towards the freeway thinking I am doing the same speed as traffic. A garbage truck cuts in front of me and I get a little annoyed, so I whip around him...fuckin eh. I saw the motorcycle cop turn his lights on and KNEW I was getting popped. This was at the end of a little hill that comes down towards an intersection.

License, registration, insurance was handed over to him. He said I was doing 53 in a 40...well there are portions of that hill that are 40 and some that are 45. There are also portions that are 25 when the children are present. Again, remember its 5:45 in the fuggin morning. Class doesn't start until 7:30 to 8.

He comes back with the ticket (no warning, no conversation, just doing what he does). The ticket says I was doing 53 in a 25 zone. I ask him about it, and remind him he said 53 in a 40 and that I didn't bother asking him for the laser reading because he was probably right on the down hill speed, where there is no need to hit the brakes to 40 other than slowing down to the speed limit...whatever, he crossed it out and wrote 40 and I was on my way.

Was the street any safer? 53 in a 45-40? No. Weather, visibility and vehicle are perfect. Safe speed can easily be 55 on that street. Never mind the asshole didn't even notice the weed pipe when I pulled out my registration, the second weed pipe in the ash tray, and the 12 ga in the back seat that I was taking back home to swap for the smaller revolver. Proof that cops are forgetting how to be cops and are just mindless ticket writers. I had respect for cops when they were actually out protecting people. Now all the residents of La Puente are safe from the speeding mexican in the white truck while they sleep.

Just Got Verizon FiOS http://forums.webrats.com/showthread.php?t=303491&goto=newpost Sun, 15 Nov 2009 22:02:32 GMT A staffing vendor of mine was telling me about...
A staffing vendor of mine was telling me about the Verizon FiOS service he had gotten a few months back. I thought it sounded pretty cool, so I went online and decided to match what I currently had with Charter Cable. Going through the menu of options, I added a few over the top extras (HD Extreme, HBO Cinemax Movie Package, Disney HD XD, and some others). At the end of it, the total monthly service (even after the first 6 months of discounts expires) it came out to over $100 less per month than the more limited crap I had with Charter.

The other motivator was that Charter's Internet service is shit and is always going down.

Now, one of the reasons I'm posting, is that I could have sworn that my staffing vendor told me that he could download on demand and DVR stuff to his laptop for when he is traveling. Is this true? Cause now that I just got FiOS up and running as of Friday, I can't seem to find how to make this happen. :sad2:

Anyone have FiOS? If so, what are some of the things that are cool that I might be missing.

So far, Internet speed is sweet (25.4 download, 24.3 upload). All cable channels are killer. I could give a shit about the phone, it's for my wife's real estate shit.

All in all, pretty killer!
