My boss told me about this site, not 100% sure what to think of it yet.

What's it's supposed to do, is you can buy into a pool of investors to buy a buisness. As the business makes money, the profits are shared between the investors. Check it out, let me know what you think, and feel free to sign up if you think it's reasonable.

I'd tell you to be weary of anything that promises an "iron-clad guarantee". What they are talking about doing is basically just purchasing companies with high profit margins and then profit sharing. I'd be really hesitant to do anything like that. You can get a fairly similar revenue effect by focusing on stocks that pay solid dividends. The main thing that this company is thinking that they will be able to succeed with is growing the companies. I personally find that a little hard to believe. I don't really think that a single management company will be able to run the companies nearly as well as the owners who are deeply imbedded in the industry. Also you've got to note that this company is pocketing a 25% commission. That's a little too high for my likes. Also the investors in the holding company are holding a 49% share. In other words, there is really no question over who really controls the company. I think it's a bad idea.
