CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
2 C. brown sugar
2 C. white sugar
2 C. butter
4 eggs
3 C. oatmeal
1 T. salt
2 T. baking powder
1 T. vanilla
4 C. flour
3 C. chopped nuts (i used sliced almonds)
24 oz. chocolate chips
Cream sugar and butter, add eggs one at a time, and blend well.
Add dry ingredients, vanilla, chips, and nuts.
Refrigerate overnight, (at least an hour).
Roll into golf ball size.
Place on cookie sheet 2" apart, and press down slightly.
bake at 400 for 6 to 9 minutes.
Makes enough to feed a small hungry army =P.
Found this a while back, and it's now my favourite until I can find a decent recipe for kitchen sink cookies like my grandma used to make. When I made it it made adout 4 dozen cookies, but that all depends on size and whatnot as I can't ever make the little tiny cookies the recipe calls for. Any help on the kitchen sink cookies would be much appreciated, or just any recipes y'all like.
