I'm in the mood for some ostrich.

I've had ostrich on 2 occasions and it's one of the best meats I've ever had. First time was grilled with some cajun seasoning and the second time was with a Portebello sauce.
Both times were awesome, and it makes me sad that we can't kill more of those birds for dinner.

Damn... So I recently came to the conclusion that Saskatoons is my favorite restaurant and I've only been there twice. I started thinking about the ostrich I had there and remembered this thread... BUMP!

Have you tried the kangaroo or the elk? That looks interesting too; I've never been much of a game guy only because I haven't had too many opportunities, but I'll try almost anything once.

I recently had some venison for the first time at a place out here & it was pretty yummy

I have to say their prices for their game dishes look a little high, but I imagine some of that stuff's pretty hard to get as well, so...

Ostrich meat is great, but the best IMO is Buffalo meat. Damn, that stuff is good. It tastes like really good beef that has been seasoned with pepper.
