Anybody here play airsoft?

?....airsoft?....what is that..those little plastic guns sold at wal-mart...?..arnt they slower than a pellet gun?

They have gas powered ones that shoot faster. A lot of airsoft clubs set a 350 feet per second rule on the guns but with mods they can shoot much faster.

Some of them are plastic with some metal parts. Some have entirely metal bodies, and a lot of folks rebuild their airsoft guns with completely metal parts.

So over there, you are limited to have guns that shoot 350 feet per second? Over here there isn't really a limit. Some morons have 700 to 800 fps sniper guns that really hurt. My friend's brother got his tooth chipped from one of those guns. Most have 500+ fps here. The one I have is 450.

Is the 350 fps limit a legal restriction, or just a restriction within clubs?

Personally I buy airsoft guns to use as props. Nothing looks better for shooting zombies than a replica of a Colt Python!

Cool! A Colt Python! Are those the ones that shoot 8mm rounds?
