You have to EARN respect from a cat. They won't befriend just anyone. Dogs seem to just slobber up to you no matter what. So I guess it's just your decision from there: True friend, or mindless slob?

Dog lover..................My dog died 3 months ago though.....he was a 9yo Golden Retriever, had bad kidney failure so we had to put him down. One of the hardest things Ive ever had to do.
