google IPO is going to be insane. Dutch auction style. Leave it to those boys to follow the unconventional route.

I'm hoping for GE because I am a shareholder :happycow:
Seriously, if I knew or had a clue, I could be a rich man....
I'm gonna stay away from the Google hype although I am sure it's gonna be the most covered in recent history.
I think that bank stocks might be a good bet even if Uncle Alan raises rates. Look for Citigroup to lead the way.
Maybe MSFT will use some of that $60 billion and make a splash....

Good call on MSO. I actually tracked it for a few days following her conviction. I thought it was a good "emotion" buy then. If her sentence gets overturned the stock could easily head back towards the 12-14 range. It might not stay there but the emotion would almost certainly cause it to peak.

Even with a sentence overturn, her image has been hurt, Martha Stewart's alienated herself with her fans/customers.

Naaa. The people that love her, love her. They will continue watching her shows and buying her stuff. The people that hate her, loath her. They never bought her crap anyway.

GERN is my stock pick for the year.
They have many many patents on cloning and stell cell technology. They are in phase two and phase three trials on many drugs. It may take a while but this stocks potential is huge.

I like Gillette, Intel, Motorola and Nokia. Yep, I'm a blue chip guy. :stalk:
Epicore BioNetworks. Shares listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (trading symbol "EBN"). Because of there association with Dr. Worne they own the exclusive rights to his environmental microbiological technology.

Expect some good things from Sprint PCS to hike up their stock a little in Q4 2004. If their release targets are on mark, they will be unveiling some services that will kick all form of a$$ on their competitors.

The stock pick of the year is a little company called RoseTel. They created the technology that poers the video on smart missiles and they have just come out with two-way HDTV wireless compression ratios that will revolutionize video conferencing.

I'd stick with Microsoft and Walmart. They've been solid performers for such a long time, you can't really go wrong with those two.

My three best this year.......
RJR--R.J. Reynolds. People keep smoking. The manufacturers consolidate. Solid growth oversees. Stock rises. Nice dividend.
EBAY--The ultimate internet stock, in my opinion. Seems overvalued but keeps going. It has made me a bundle this year. And it always takes of in Q4 with the boom from holiday shopping/selling
COP--Conoco/Phillips. Solid growth and the most opportunity for growth in the oil sector. Steady dividends as well.

microsloth...their cash flow is incredible, and they have a bajillion dollars invested in liquid assets. The plan is to pay out massive dividends to stockholders as well as buy back some stock from shareholders, again increasing the value of their stock
