uverse is charging for tech visits.
considering they own the equipment doesnt seem very fair

Ive had no less then 50 tech calls to my house in the last 3 or so years. not once have i been charged, time warner doesnt even charge to come fix their problem

They are big in S.A...they figure if you can afford there service,you can afford the tech bills they leave I guess.

Must be a new thing or something specific to your area? I've had techs out lots of times and never had a charge. I have another one coming this week and don't expect to be charged for that either.

They are clear about where their d-mark is though and I'm OK with that. If it's broke on their side of the line or their shit CPE is broke, I'm not payin'.

What was the issue? Depending on the equipment, it may be yours. Even still, you can always avoid dispatch costs.
