well if you want to start hacking dss first you need a smart card then a active bin number you will also need a bootload to erase the smart card and put your new bin number on and of course you need the program that lets you complete all that stuff enjoy "[U]tring" to hack the new cards

Just be careful directv won 6.5 billion dollars worth of law suits last year over hacked cards and they do PROACTIVELY search for fraudulent accounts. --daremonai (DTV tech support sup until recently)

my best bet, would be to go fta (free-to-air). All you need is a computer and cable and the software to download the bins, and then just sit back and enjoy. it ain't easy though, my best bet would be to read a lot of forums on fta.

How's the work on the p5's going lately i'm doing crappy
