Okay..I know we are only a quarter of the way through the season...but let's make some predictions here. Could be fun in Oct.

My pick for NL MVP is Derek Lee. The guy is unstoppable right now. Will he cool off??

AL....hmmmm, I know I should say A-Rod but I hate that guy too much and will never vote for him. How about Tejada. Mr. Consistent. Every year he goes out and put's up big numbers.

NL Cy Young. The D-Train. Dontrelle Willis has been great and suffered two loses the last two weeks both by small margins.

AL Cy Young. Roger Clemens....before the All-Star break he will be a Yankee and be pretty much unhitable.

So, what are your predictions?

AL MVP: As a Mariner fan I really hate saying this but its probably gunna be A-Rod because he probably is the best player in baseball

NL MVP: This is a toss up but its between either Derrek Lee or Pujols

AL Cy Young: I'm going to have to say Roy Halladay or Johan Santana

NL Cy Young: This ones easy...Dontrelle Willis

OMG!! Do I finally habe a fellow M's fan here in the site. Sweet! So are you disspointed this year so far? Different team, same ol' shit. I do have a good feeling for the years to come with guys like Wilson Valdez, Felix Hernandez and Jeremy Reed.

I think Beltre and Sexson will start getting their BA up.

Well enough of my thread hijack. I just was excited to see another M on the boards.

AL MVP: A Rod or Tejada if Baltimore makes the playoffs
AL Cy Young: Halliday

NL MVP: I agree, Derek Lee is unbelievable so far
NL Cy Young: Dontrelle Willis (although if Beckett gets hot it could split the vote)

Clemens to the Yankees, interesting...

The Houston offense screwed him again today. He's going to get tired of it quick. You think he want's his last season to be a losing season. No way.

Oh good, another aging pitcher to add to our rotation. Now lets see if we can't get Whitey Ford back, and we'll be set... :madcow:

I pretty much agree with you on all counts kornut. However, I think Dontrelle Willis is gonna burn out before too long. Not to say he isn't a good pitcher. He's got what it takes, but I think he's a little streaky, and won't be able to handle a full season yet.

I heard today that Clemens might be interested in going to the Rangers. I'm assuming so that everyone in Texas doesn't burn his mansion down.

Well so far I'm a little dissapointed but, I don't really expect them to go out and murder everyone they have to learn to play as a team and I'm happy Valdez is gone and they have Morse at short, since then the M's have been as good as anybody

That guy can play!! I am so pumped about the M's future. When Reed gets another year under his belt, along with Dobbs, Morse, and Lopez....man! Not to mention Felix Hernandez and Micheal Garciaparra.

Boone might be in trouble with Jose playing so well at second. Hopefully with Baylor's help he can get his stroke back.

AL MVP - Vladimir Guerrero
AL Cy Young - Either Mark Beurhle or John Garland of the White Sox. If their run support holds up, on of these two will run away with it.

NL MVP - I want to say Thome, cause he's my fav. player, but it will probably be DLee.
NL Cy Young - Dontrelle Willis

NL Cy Young: Dontrelle Willis

NL MVP: Derrick Lee

My Rockies suck so bad, I have stopped watching Baseball!
We are the Cleveland Indians of old.

I have no idea who is doing well this year.

Go Nationals!! (Old Expos)
