Does anyone know about Sirius satellite radio and if it can be cloned or hacked? I poked around on Google but only found garbage.

Thats what I would like to know! How hard would it be to trick the unit into thinking that its a paid unit??? Someone out there must have done it. If someone can invent, build and sell a flowbee then someone can hack a satellite radio. It cant be that hard.

SIRIUS uses a QPSK (Quad-rature Phase Shift Keying) for its modulation scheme. If you look around on the internet you can get the schematics for a QPSK (four level) decoder and you can get all the parts to make one from Radio Shack for about $10. The frequency for SIRIUS is 2.32 Ghz and the signal bandwith is 12.5 Mhz for the whole system. The QPSK will not work if the receiver you have uses the TDM (Time Division Multiplexing).

Hmmm, I have looked for this item, schematics for a QPSK, but do you think I can find it, so do you by chance have a link...

Why not just pay for the service instead of stealing it.

what a crazy ass idea that is...

apparently, $12.95 per month is more expensive than going and buying beer or drugs all the time.

the units aren't that expensive guys, come on. I have an in-dash unit for my Nissan, it cost $150 installed, and I have a portable unit in my work truck, cost me $40 plus $4 or $5 for velcro pieces, zip ties, and screws to mount it properly.

why not just be legal, spend a few dollars a month, and get radio service that kills terestrial?

The legal way is to add another subscription to your account. The other way well still working on the new ones.
