i found out last night my friend was killed. he was driving a truck and a bullet flew through the passenger window and hit him in the heart. he was 26. makes you think about how anything can happen. you never know. and is there anything waiting on the other side?

Sorry to hear about your friend.

What kind of truck? What kind of hood was he in? Sounds odd a bullet just flying in.

May he RIP

It's crazy to think how a single stray bullet can take a life. It's the first weekend of Deer season, any chance it was an honest accident? (anyplace to hunt nearby?)

This country is in serious trouble...and with the unemployment rate, economy and fiscal state as a whole, I expect this holiday season to be full of theft and robbery. I highly recommend anyone capable carry some sort of self defense.

That said - this sucks :(

*sigh* Sorry for your loss, dude. I lost my best friend almost 2 years ago. Dude was warming up a quad so he can teach the guy who was buying it to ride it, took a tumble and I never saw him again. Just like that. Goes to show how insignificant we are and how important we think we are. There was no special shrine for him, or no flags flew at half mast....just another day.
