Been fucking around buying this for the last 35 days.

Most of the stuff is moved in (the heavy stuff) and the only problem was the gf can't drive for shit and ended up hitting the uhaul truck on her old appartment's balcony lol
Here are more pics:
The hole in the grass where the for sale sign used to be :D

Here's the front again, now with slightly better (less worse) grass than when we first saw it:

Here's a shot of the neighborhood:

We got the owners to pay for the drywall termite problem all these houses have. The solution? Close up that freaking trellis/hole in the roof so water won't get into it. I'll be hitting it with 20 coats of primer and another 20 of oil based something or other.

Excited once again to have a back yard (it needs tons of fucking work, man)
http://www.aww-kittah-aww.com/up/public/100263/backyard.JPG
The window is for the family room, the sliding door is for the master bedroom. The palm tree has to fuckin go. Still haven't decided what I'm going to do with that slab.

Here's the side yard with the yard parking slab for working on junk.

Side exit from the attached 2 car garage.

Full side yard looking at the garage, the slider from the dining room/family room, the window to the family room, and the slider to the master bedroom

Rechecked and yeah, we do own all that side space. I really don't know what to do with it, though. The neighbor owns only whatever his little side garden is. I have to put some form of 2' sidewalk to drain the water away from the footing, so maybe some potted plants or something? Meh, I'll watch DIY and see what I can do with it.

Here is the back side of that side yard. The palm trees will probably go and I'll use that spot to put the grill in.

The tool shed, looks kind of lonely back there :(

Didn't get any inside shots because in the spirit to get the uhaul truck back by 7:00 we just threw in all the crap and ya'll don't need to be seeing that.

We picked up the keys on Tuesday and ofcourse you know I walked around the whole house smoking it up!

locals stay tuned for that smoking party.

The neighborhood behind me is a gated community (I was looking at those, but too many nazi rules like no pick up trucks :eddie: ). Houses with pools were being snatched up waaaaay too high on the asking price, so we avoided it and will be installing either a salt water pool or an above ground pool with built in deck. Gotta get married first though :(

Grats on the house, it has a lot of potential.

I have a question though, where will you put the stripper pole. Every proud mexican has a stripper pole for his girl to dance for him. Whenever he wants.

West Covina.

Stripper pole is going in the master bedroom. :juan:

Congrats man. Welcome to the wonderful world of home ownership :queso:

Knock down the wall with the palm trees on it. Extend the side wall (and utilize all of the property line) to the front yard. Put a gate in and you've got a dog walk/additional backyard space to stash shit/whatever. This gives you additional access to the backyard as well.

I thought about that too. The problem is, I fuck up the neighbors side yard garden (don't want to piss the neighbors off yet). All of the windows on that side are from bedrooms (emergency exits to GTFO in case of earth quakes. And, it really is a great place to put in the grill. All the other spots have other plans for it. Slab outside the master will get a spa, so we can open our sliding doors and go in and out freely to take pees after the fuck sessions. Every other wall has windows and I dont want asada smoke stinking up the place.

I am totally jealous. I would love to own my own home, especially in this market. Congrats man!

On the pool front, look into the in-ground fiberglass ones. Cheaper than the gunnite/concrete kind, but still very nice looking. And easy to get rid of if you get sick of it. I would get one of those and a spa in a frikkin heartbeat if I could.

I'm not engaged yet. I don't want to be engaged longer than a few months. Makes no sense dropping a few grand on a rock and have her wear it for a year or two.

I've been weaning myself off of whores for a while. So far, doing okay. The fact that the new girl never leaves my side has a lot to do with it. Even if I wanted to cheat, I can't find the fucking time!

Ah yes that never gets old...

seriously though, she's a sweet girl and I'm sure you guys will get your day-to-day personal space issues worked out as you both settle in.

but you know that... :)
