View Full Version : Peace out Biatches!
I'm leaving my place around 10:30am tomorrow to go to MEPS (again). Then I fly up to Chicago sometime Thursday for the Navy's Basic Training.
I'll miss most of you guys while I'm gone.

Have fun in basic.
You know why they use powdered soap in the Navy?
Because it's harder to pick up when you drop it in the shower.
good luck!

We'll really miss you around here, Zack. Please try to check in every once in a while and let us know how you're doing, where you're at, and all that.
Best wishes, squid!

Good luck with your Basic. As others have said, don't forget to stop by whenever you have an opportunity and let us know how you're doing.

Oh, and if you're ever stationed at NAS Key West, you BETTER let me know, I will buy all the beers....unless you're like that prevailing westerly bitch Yamon who blew through and barely said hi....

Good luck, I'm sure you'll do fine. Have fun, it's a once in a life time experience. By the time you get out, you'll know the meaning of being short.
Good luck again,
Licu
Be cool and watch ya self

Hey, if you got someone's mailing address from here have them post it and we'll send you some mail. God knows mail call is the only good time there. Though I warn you, I might give in to the temptation to send you a box full of Marine Corps shit!
What rate did you choose? We'll expect a post in about 10 weeks. Good luck, and don't let the Petty Officers get you down!

Just remember to never call a Chief "Sir"
why?
BackdoorJesus

because drill instructors like to play this mind-game with recruits that they are better than officers and officers are called "sir".
It's just more of the same basic training indoctrination BS you see in all branches of the service.

because unlike officers, they "work for a living"
I'll bet CD's tired of push ups, deep knee bends, and having a trash can thrown down the bunk aisle at 0530. The first night can be a pain in the ass. I wonder how many times he and his fellow recruits made up their beds and had 'em ripped apart by the DI's?
