Eagle DA Hurlbert is competing against Santa Monica DA Sneddon for TV coverage over which proecution team is going to get more pre-trial publicity. In fact, both are delaying the speedy trial processes and making news conferences almost weekly, as a jump-start to their next career. Both are looking for their 15 minutes, a book deal, some lucrative job offer and hopefully a speaking circuit to make millions. They really don't give a crap about whether the case is real or just a show for entertainment, yanking people's chain and entertaining upcoming movie deals.
