Italy or Spain

Hey guys i'm planning on doing a language intensive study abroad in the near future (hopefully this summer, more likely next summer) and i'm trying to decide between Spain and Italy, currently leaning towards Italy. any opinions would be greatly appreciated

I would choose Italy, I think they may have a more interesting historical sites to see. In reality I may choose Spain because I took 3 years of Spanish, but I say Italy.

On a different note, I want to visit Brazil, anyone been there?

Don't know why this got revived, but I've been to Italy and its really cool. I plan on going abroad too and not sure whether i should go to Spain Itlay or Germany. I'm kinda leaning towards Italy, but don't know for sure. Hell it's all pretty close hop on a train and get just about anywhere in 12 hours.
