Believable, or full of shit?

Alot of contridictions on his interview. I think the guy is telling half truths. I really don't see Palmerio roiding up. The guy has been the same size throughout his carrer and has always been consistent.

I beilieve that many of the players did take roids, but have to wiat to condemn then umtil they either own up or are caught.

Canseco is a punk. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that he and a lot of other players were/are on the roids but the douchebag betrayed the trust of some these guys to sell some books. He is a has-been that wants to be again. He'll be in jail in a few years.

Sheffield basicly said years ago the same thing Canseco is saying now, but without naming names. Don't hate Canseco for outing his peers because someone was eventually going to blow the lid of this scandal. Hate that fucker for embelishing the truth. Palmiero and Sheffield are clean.

I hear ya...but he did call out Raf. WTF!! Why?? I do believe Mark is guity. As well as Bonds and Giambi.

Big Mac is guilty as fuck, but I'd say he didn't use steriod as heavy as Canseco, Bonds, or Giambi. Bonds and Giambi are roid freaks, they got that look in there eyes. I've seen it before, they have used way too much shit. Serious as hell, I wouldn't be suprised if Giambi was sterile.

Canseco wtf! We know that players are using roids but the thing that pisses me off is the crap that he talked about Big Mac. We know that he used that A stuff i have no idea how to spell it so i wont but we know he took it when it was legal and he stopped when baseball outlawed it. By Canseco saying this crap it now hurts Big Macs chances into getting in the hall of fame. Canseco just wants the spotlight on him again and does not care who he hurts as long as he is back.

where there's smoke, there's fire...no doubt that jose fabricated some stuff, BUT, chances are, a lot is true...the steroid thing makes me sick, but it is what it is....to be honest, i always hated babe ruth, but now i realize that he might have been the best baseball player ever...he WAS a fat alcoholic womanizer, who just happened to hit 714 home runs...now THAT is impressive...

As much as it sucks to admit, many of these guys, if not all, probably did it. Another thing, just because you don't get huge doesn't mean you aren't juicing. Steroids can be used just to maintain and help your body recover quicker than normal...

There is no way Raf did the roids. Gosman, the steroids you're talking about are different kinds of steroids, like cortico. Anabolic steroids effect testosterone levels, changing your physicality noticeably, be it weight loss, muscle gain, stuff of that nature.

Nope. Cortico, which I mentioned, is used in inhalers as an anti-inflammatory, as many steroids are. Just because they have the word steroid doesn't make them performance enhancing. If, by performance inhancing, you mean keeping the swelling down, then I guess so. :)

If people didn't want them to, they wouldn't still be in such awe of Barry Bonds and his Homerun record. I don't think it's right, there should be a crackdown on drug use in baseball. But there's so much pressure on athletes to perform and continue breaking records that I really can't blame them and understand why they would use steroids.

i read jose's book...good read and believable...mac, juan gonzo....definately on roids...but raffy...no way...its a decent book but jose is so bitter at the media and at baseball that it just comes off as a big whine...

I've never really liked Canseco. He's always been a major douchebag in my eyes. He was one of those guys who never cared about the game. He was there to collect his paycheck and get some ladies. There are guys out there like Sammy who at least acted like he cared for the game for a long time...at least THAT's respectable (although I'll never forgive him for running Mark Grace out of Chicago).

As far as 'roids are concerned, anyone who thinks they haven't been a part of any sport since the 60's is just retarded. Sure, MOST athletes don't do them, but many of the better ones have. It's a shame, and its not fair, but that's the reality. Sports are like hot dogs....everybody likes them, until they find out what they're actually made of.

Does Bonds deserve the homerun record? HELL NO! That guy has done nothing but disgrace the game. In his mind, he's bigger than the game itself. He spends more time crying and complaining that he's black, and how it's just different being in the spotlight...fuck that. He despises history, and hates Babe Ruth because he's white and people adored him. I am one of those people who is praying that something happens to that guy before he gets 714 or 756. Hopefully someone figures out he really abused 'roids to enhance his performance, or suffers a career ending injury, because he is just bad for the game.
