i found the query that was slowing the index page down
should see a 200% improvement in speed

also fixed a booboo in the mysql memory allocation
db reset 3 times repaired attachment table
all is fine

I didn't notice a thing wrong. My ISP has been giving me fits for the last 2.5 days. Uploading ability is virtually nonexistant, and downloading usually crawls. Can't get the shit done, that I need to get done! But I am well prepared when ISP decides to fix the problem. Been busy reorganizing files on alpha.
