I'd post in BOTH, Padded Room, or Drug forum, but this seems a good place to get serious answers. I live in a community where this is an alledged problem. I know little about this drug, and am not interested in trying it. However, could someone help me out and explain more about it? Chances are I have met tweekers and don't even know they are high.
Cost, what the high is like, symptoms of being under the influence, addiction rates, meth labs, legal ramifications for possession or distribution, popularity, etc.
Thanks.

Um, try using google?
Meth is a very dirty cheap drug with a very intense high which is why its so popular.
Te effects? Kind of like drinking a 100 cups of coffe instantly.
It can be snorted if ground up finely, it can be shot in a needle, or it can be smoked in a glass pipe.
If you meet a tweeker while high, you know it. They get real fidgety, have trouble concentrating, and look like they havent slept in a while.
The cost, like I said, is cheap. 10 bucks will get you a fix.
Drug posession charges vary from city and state.
And they tend to get ugly very quickly on meth.

Well it depends on the level of user. A lot of meth heads are binge users. Meaning they stay up for days, weeks sometimes. So they usually sleep a lot and are pretty dehydrated. Some users just use a little to help them out when feeling down, so they take a rail, do their thing, and then go back to normal. Others like me when I've used it, just do it when drinking, so mix in a hangover with a stuffed up nose and ta-da.

so as to not post less than completely serious replies in EOTH, I will merely link to another post currently in BOTH
