So I figure since spring break is 3 months away for most people, right now would be a good time to ponder the options for places to go. I know most people go to Cancun or any place with alcohol and a beach, but I'm thinking of going skiing. AFAIK most travel agencies offer pretty good package deals, but I'm weary of getting myself into something deep. I was thinking of driving to New Mexico because I heard that the resorts there are usually cheaper and they have good powder. Anyone care to share their opinion on where to go?
Cancun for me man.. It rox.

I'm from the UK so sadly can't recommend much to do with Spring Break, although I keep promising myself I ought to visit the during Spring Break and see what all the hype is about. However if you want a great place to go skiing - I had a great time a few years back at Steamboat Springs - stayed at the Nights Rest Motel - fairly cheap - hot tubs out back and great powder!

Steamboat is Awesome! Great small town with lots of bars, great mountain with tons of snow, powder snow! Lots of gorgeous women, and great scenery on Rabbit Ears Pass (20 minute drive out of town).
If you go skining, go there.
You could fly into Denver and drive (3 hours) or fly into a small town just outside of Stemaboat springs (Hayden).
