Tsunami pics

Not sure where else to post this, but this link came across my desk today at work. It's a pretty interesting look at what the Tsunami did. It's all before/after pics where you see a satellite image from before the Tsunami hit and then click an "After" button and the picture changes to what it looks like now. They are all high quality images, probably 800x600.

Those satellite images made the videos look like crap. I've seen some videos, and they didn't even make it look nearly as bad as that.

Omigod! Amazing find....and i used to have recurring nightmares of this exact same thing happening (well what happened to the bridge on the right in this pic http://homepage.mac.com/demark/tsunami/2.html) I'd try to cross a bridge and it just kept getting submerged in water....Wow, I'm with Hijacker, nothing i've seen so far (although, i haven't seen much) has truly shown the real extent of the damage/aftermath. =/

I searched all over to see if I could find any good tsunami videos or pics, but there's nothing out there that really shows how bad things actually were. I guess it's mostly because the videos and pics would not have survived if they showed the true impact.

Anyways, great post and amazing pictures.

Man that shit is so fucked up. I cant believe how many people lost their lives to that fucking mess. It's sad to think about.
