Keep Losing Cookies

Awhile back after you all did site maintenance, my account won't stay logged in on repeat visits even though I check the "Remember Me?" box. Other than having cookies enabled on my computer, is there something else that needs to be done on my end?

Did you check your TCP/IP settings?
I'm not experiencing problems with downloads/uploads or firewall settings. As far as TCP/IP settings, I have file & printer sharing turned on and that is working. I always thought cookies were under the control of the browser (in my case, Firefox). I will review Firefox settings, since it doesn't appear to be a universal problem.
