I have always heard that the rabbit vibrator is the best around. I want to get one for my wife (I know you're asking wtf, she doesn't already have one?). Amazon has them on sale crazy cheap, which is why I am skeptical about buying one here. These are the two I was looking at, waterproof rabbit vibrator, and waterproof rabbit vibrator 2. They are both the same price, but the second one has a higher original price. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Deleted the links to the stuff for sale, just in case this guy actually wants input on vibes and isn't trying to sell sex toys. Yes, I'm nice. :)

Personally, I've tried the rabbit and realized after a while that it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Things to consider when buying a toy:

- What type of stimulation is she after? Clitoral? Vaginal? Both? That will determine what type of toy to look for.
- How strong is the motor (and how strong does she need it to be)?
- How loud is it? Is noise level a factor or not?
- What type of battery is needed? Is it easy to find? Is it easy to replace the batteries (if you are at the store, ask if you can try opening and closing the battery compartment - changing batteries shouldn't have to require a trip to Home Depot for some specialized tools!)
- Does it have any cords that would make it awkward to use?
- Does it need to be waterproof? (i.e. shower/hot tub use)
- Is there a special type of cleaner needed to keep it germ-free? How low maintenance is it?
- Are there some types of lube that would degrade the material? For example, silicone lube should not be used with silicone toys.

Clitoral and vaginal stimulation would be ideal, which is why we were leaning towards the rabbit. I was linking to the products because my main concern was that it might be too sweet of a deal. Thanks for all the other advice, maybe I will shop around a bit more.

Funny story; I just met my buddy's best friend a couple of weeks ago - she's a girl. One of the first conversations after hearing how much of a tool her boyfriend is - hey, I'm available... - we had was how fantabulous This Rabbit device is. We actually had an in depth discussions of its "ins and outs" the available options, etc. THEN her roommate chimed in on it giving HER endorsement.

So apparently, it's the proverbial shizzle. I was told that the rechargeable battery option is a good choice.
