I don't find that ironic. The honor killing of women, abuse of women, and other vile domestic issues are sown throughout the Islamic faith. What is really amazing is if this individual had performed this act in much of the Islamic world, the woman's death wouldn't have made the local paper, much less the wire news networks.

Maybe he really wasn't as "moderate" as he made himself out to be. I wonder what now happens to their child? The kid staying in the US or headed back to dads/moms country of origin to other family?
