It's a soap opera, just very violent. I quit watching a few years ago, when it got to where if you missed a week, you were totally lost. I like the good ole days when bad guys were bad guys, and the good guys were, well there weren't any.

can anyone believe that the Vikings signed Brock Lesner to a NFL contract?

Brock is a monster. With his size, strength, and athleticism, I'm sure any team would give him a shot.

Neither. It isn't a true sport because the end result is determined. Its more than just a soap opera, although I would love to see someone body slam Susan Lucci. I would call it an athletic event, similar to the Harlem Globtrotters.

Definitely not a sport. Sport requires competition and is a contest without a predetermined winner.
It's an athletic soap opera. How's that?
Susan Lucci could use a good body slam. ughword

See it for what it is... An entertaining program you watch on TV.... Honestly if you think that the outcome of professional sporting events ins't pre-determined you are sadly sheltered.

They usually refer to it as "Sports Entertainment". I've been a huge fan since I was, like, 7 lol.

Lets get one thing straight.....Pro Wrestling is a form of entertainment that the outcome is pre determined but it at all means is not fake. These guys do get their bumps and bruises and do seriously get hurt. I've been a huge fan since I was about 5 (26 now) and even with the new story lines and lame acting I still am drawn to it. Even though it is more of a "soap opera for men" now the actual wresting is better. Watch a old match and I can bet you will be bored with the 20 min matches of chin locks and abdominal stretches. Finishing moves back then were lame as hell. The in ring moves today are just much more exciting. Its not a true sport but its not fake as well.
