Ok...I just hit level 80 on my mage about 3 days ago...I try to login today, and I'm hit with the message "This account has been closed. It can no longer be used."
I'm like WTF. I've only been in trouble once in WoW, and that was like two years ago, and it was just a 3 hour ban...
So I check my e-mail and it says my account has been closed due to advertising in game. I know exactly what they are talking about now...
If you've been playing WotLK, I'm sure you noticed the rise in amount of gold spammers...so last night I was being sarcastic in trade and said
"ZOMG! Be stupid! Spend your real money for some fake wow gold. Cheapest Prices!! 1,000,000g = 1 penny!!! cmon all you tards, support ur local gold farmers!!! delivery in 5 seconds guarnteed!!! go to "www.imaloserthatbuyswowgold.com"!!
And that's what my account is permanately banned for. They say its under review. If they don't clear it, I'm going to appeal it. This is complete BS. I mean, is it against the ToS to be satricial? Alot of people laughed in trade, but the GM (Tiredas) reported me...
I've been playing for over 2 years...
I have a lvl 80 mage, 76 warlock, 65 DK, and two 49 twinks...I know I don't own the characters or anything, but that is ALOT of freaking time I invested.
An again, I've only had my account be in trouble one time, and it was a minor thing (when I first got WoW).
So to say the least, I am furious...
And im signed up to do a guild raid tonight...
