I've been shooting alot in the last six months. Over the last two years, I've noticed a significant increase in ammunition costs. I'm sure the costs can abe attributed to the overall increase in metals around the world.
The other day, I tried some relatively cheap Russian ammunition. In the past, I've shot some Wolf ammo from my SKS and AK; last week, I shoot some Silver Bear ammo. The cost was about $129.00 for 1,000 rounds of 9mm.
I fired all 1,000 rounds using several handguns and about 450-500 rounds through an MP5. I didn't have any misfires, stovepipes, or other problems. I'm thinking about purchasing some more.
Has anyone else used this (or similar discount) ammo? What were your results?
