Hacked one? Meaning where you can get free online or where you can play any game you choose or where you can use it like a puter or all the above.

I've heard tell of how it was done, up until a year or so ago, by swapping out the DVD drive & spoofing the firmware or some such nonsense. Problem is that about that same year or so ago the machines that were modified got banned from the xbox live network so that kinda made the mod undesirable. Maybe something has come up since then? I dunno...I paid for my gold thru the next damn year already so too late for me. :bongrip:

There are a couple sites out there that give free 48 hour passes. You just give them a fake address and name and you get a popup that gives you a pass. You can keep doing it over and over again. My buddy re mod his chip and swapped drives to make it act like a puter. I will get hold of him and see how he did it.

theres a couple of ways to do it
cheapest and easyest (not that easy) is to flash the firmware of the dvd drive
as far as i recall you need an older 360
u can tell if u can do it by having a look at the tray while its open
there should be a u shape in the middle and a circle missing on the right handside
if not then u need to get a mod chip which is a bit more expensive
u can play copyed games and play them online also a friend of mine has one and has no problems at all

And "BackdoorJesus", that's only if you do it with a mod chip. There is a way that is undetected to ban. But I wouldn't know anything about that. ;)
