problems with blueray palyer

hi iam hoping some body could help

ive just fitted a lg blueray/hd player to my computer i have loaded power dvd as per the software that came with the unit but every time i put a disc in it sounds like it is loading but nothink happens andthen i get a pop up saying that there is no disc in E drive.

has any body else had any problems like this before

make sure you have updated drivers for it. You can go to the site that the player was made and get them.

Is this from newegg? I have heard that you dont need to use the software that came with the player. Just use like powerDVD or some sort of program. I was interested in the same player I think.

did you try any other sort of media in the drive? cd's, dvd's?? Try those and if they don't work, its probably the drive itself.
