Why so many?

Why do so many spammers think I need a mortgage? I get 2 or 3 offers/day, and I haven't ever applied for one, nor do I intend to. I must have gotten on someone's list, but I can't figure out whose.

I used to get that all the time on the phone. Now I get charities and survey calls! Bastards!

Its really easy to get on the list, just being a member at a bank will usually do it. They just try to flood the market as much as possible and hopefully they will get some replies.
