My motherboard on my desktop fried. Because it's getting old and slow anyway, I decided to get a new computer rather than replacing the motherboard. I have a lot of stuff, like kids pictures and stuff, on the old harddrive that I'd like to get off. Any suggestions how I can do that?

Thanks.

Get a GMG 3506UEP-BLK 3.5" External Hard Drive Enclosure - IDE to USB 2.0 / FireWire is what I use....just add old hard drive to it and drag and drop to new pc.....here is a link from tiger direct.

Thanks Canu. I ordered it, although from a different website. Seems to be exactly what I need.
