Unique and painfull issue...

Okay, so today I ran into an interesting dilemma. I was stung on the tip of my penis by a bastard jellyfish, and then continued surfing for 4 or 5 hours, and now that area is rather raw. My girlfriend and I attempted sex after I got back from the beach, and it was excruciatingly painful for me.

My question is, aside from regular old painkillers (which I do not think are going to work), is there a way I can reduce this pain to a tolerable level or completely numb the area (its just the head, nothing else is bothered)?

...Or am I going to have to wait a day or two till this nasty sting/chafe combination calms down?

I suppose, but I doubt he will do more than tell me to 'keep off it' for a while and perhaps give me some ointment. I was hoping for something a little quicker than that.

Not a big deal, just thought someone might have experience (in retrospect, I don't know why I would think that) on the issue.

If you're looking for extremely temporary relief, try some lidocaine, etc. on the painful area(s) and cover your stuff with a condom. The condom will prevent the medication from numbing your partner and stifling her enjoyment; the medication will assist you in lasting longer.

I must agree with the other posters here... Go see a doc! Never do anything that may permenantly endanger the tool.

I personally use a topical anesthetic called "emla" (no, not on my wang, since I don't have one) and it's lidocaine + prilocaine. It's available OTC here in Canada.

A pharmacist might be able to tell you what meds might help. But srsly dude, why not just go to a doc?

Good point i really don't want to know how you got stung on your dick... but like a broken record gotta see the doc. In this case an apple a day shouldn't keep the doc away....

How I got stung...well, boardshorts don't have any lining in them like swim trunks, so if your leg happens to be facing the wrong way, a small jelly can easily drift up there. And I'm not riding a longboard either - from my stomach down is underwater pretty much at all times.

As for why I attempted sex after my unfortunate injury...don't know why but after a couple hours of surfing nothing beats sex.

I put some ointment on it and spent most of today in my birthday suit. It's feeling better right now and hopefully after a good nights sleep it will no longer be an issue.
