you both kind of misunderstand. Jackie-0, like myself, uses Newsbin Pro to download from the newsgroups and the figure you are looking at is how much in total she has downloaded from her numerous news servers since she last reset her counters in the program.

FWIW, my total to date is currently 524.06GB and I reset about two months ago.

my crappy IE connection is only 6 megabit, but usenet always maxes that shit out

Since XBOX media center can play a rar'd AVI as it download it, my connection is just fine... we put the rar files in order on newsbin and as soon as we hit "download" we can start watching the movie / tv show

LOL. Actually, it's something else that had just some weird description on it. I'm not going to tell you what it was, but it definitely was not Donkey Porn.

And I think I haven't reset my counters in a year or more. So, yeah, I don't download nearly as much as our buddy BDJ.

So what the hell are BDJ and Jackie-O downloading so much of? I burn stuff to DVD regularly and know how much I download. I just have to check my burn record folder. 120 gigs in the last 6 months. About 150 gigs in the 6 months before that.
