She doesn't understand english! Actually I had a friend who was cuban and couldn't understand a word of text book spanish that his sponsor's son had. He was able to understand Latin though which my brother was fluent in after 4 years of catholic HS Latin.

Actually he had 3 years of Catholic HS French besides Latin. But, he had 4 semesters of Greek at La Salle University(Catholic). He's degree was in Philosophy.
