Uhhhhhhh, I'm not so sure I'd call the coastal communities of Maine "low rent". Have you ever been here? Do you have any idea what real estate goes for around here? Sure we have our share of shitholes, but I'm sure the place where you reside has it's share as well. It's one of those "it's all relative" things.

Side note......I'll just bet our Million dollar homes here would be 10 times more costly there. So you just stay right there and overpay for everything. :)

For example:
This place lists for 2.4 million. 7 acres of land and 300ft of deep water shore frontage. So that would be what..... $24 million there? Okay maybe my ratio is a tad off, but still.
